“ I'm not sure of my audience when writing about a carniceria (butcher shop), take out eatery and small grocery store that is 98% Michoacan (A State in Mexico). I buy an inexpensive cut of meat two or three times a month. I've purchased it at Food City, two different Fry's, one other carniceria, tried a third carniceria with a very limited selection. Carniceria Michoacan has had pennies higher prices than the Big Chains. The quality of product is superior and stays fresh longer. If you cook Mexican-style from scratch, consider this a place to shop for ingredients and spices. If you want a bit of home-style nostalgia, try Carniceria Michoacan. If you want Jafra produvts in Saturdays, Senora Jafra sells out front. Watch traffic and red light runners in this area. Thungs can be a bit loco. ”

“ It's a hole in the wall kinna place. It's a small establishment which sales basic grocery needs. It is well known for its hot and delicious Ready to eat meats. Such as chicken, Carnitas, Buche, chicharrones, carne asada and more! All the hot food is "to go" because it doesn't have a sitting area. In addition to the hot meals they sell, you can find chips, cookies, fresh Mexican bread, tortillas, sodas, juice etc. On a typical Saturday and Sunday there's is a lot of in and out traffic but the service is fast as they have approximately 4 or 5 ladies taking and giving the food. ”
